LUCID MOON STUDIO LOVELY EARRINGS

Hello Ladies,

It feels like such a long time since i posted anything, sorry for this silence, many other things to do in place of jewelry. But, many thanks to all of you who sent me private messages and asked for my work.

Today i want to share with you dear friends, these beauties, made by Lisa Harrington at Lucid Moon Studio, for me. The idea of this "Thanksgiving earring exchange" came from the so kind Leslie Zabel at Leslie Bei Mondi.

And as the lucky girl i am, my partner for it was Lisa. I knew her creations via her website, but when i received the yellow envelop with her name on it, i said, OMG, ahem, Lucid Moon Studio for me ??? And what about my joy when i opened the package... These incredibly delicate earrings, with all what i love, etched copper, wire, and green moss agate ! Did you know i love moss agate Lisa ? This girl is surely a medium.

And as you can see, Lisa sent me some extra goodies, like those treasures found on the beach, i never saw such little seashells, and buttons from her Grandma' s house, which touched my heart a lot.

Thank you so much dear Lisa, for your talent and your kindness.

If you want to see the earrings i made for Loreleï, take a look at her website, Inside the Studio, she posted a beautiful comment on it. Thanks to all of you ladies who answered such sweet words.

ROUND ROBIN NECKLACE

Hello ladies,

Do you recognize me ?

Yes it's me ... The famous round robin, ooh, may i say, one of the round robins who fly over the world and the ocean (that's why you can see a globe behind me) ,to symbolize the most beautiful friendship adventure between five ladies who decided to create a ten hands necklace (that's why i wear a necklace ;-)

Two of them are from United States, Cindy at "Sweet bead studio", who is the initiatrice of the deal, Sharon at "Livewire jewelry", one from Germany, Renate at "Put a little magic in your life"
and two from France, Esther at "Mes illusions baroques", and Véronique at "Narrative jewelry".

They decided to let us, lovely round robins, explaining the game. Ahem... Each of them have started a part of a necklace, send it to the next one who will add her own part to the necklace, and again pass it on. Allright everybody ?

The fact is (as i was speaking with the other robins), all of them are really proud and honored to be working together without knowing each other, only by admiring one's work.

Oh, and they said they will show you the result of this beautiful project.

Good luck to the five ladies.

MY FIRST RINGS

Hello girls,

Thank you so much for all the comments on my precedent post, it encourages me to continue with copper and etching. It gave me lots of fun to do that, discovering what will happen with baking soda and sand sheet, not too much, just enough, to pop out the image.

Well... May i introduce my first rings, for you, friends ?
Let me know what you really think about them, it is just an attempt, work in progress... of course !

And for those who love ducks, i found this one...

The last pic for today. My next attempts would be on brass, Renate sent me a sheet of it, the color is so lovely that i need to try.

Have a beautiful evening.

ETCHANT

Hi girls,

I can see the "how to" concerning muriatic acid added to hydrogen peroxyd from Barbara Lewis at Jewelry of distinction made a lot of fan. Thank to her for sharing with us this so simply way for etching metal.

Leslie shown us her results, which are great, but she is unsatisfied by the ink she used.

So, Leslie, i tried this afternoon with Stazon ink and stamp pads. Honestly, i love the result, it encourages me to go on with this technique.

And i have here to thank Lilibulle for her help in explanations and her patience, and Renate at Put a little magic in your life who send me the copper sheets. Love you gals.

A WINK AT RENATE

My sweet friend Renate from "Put a little magic in your life" (and a so kind girl), shown us her afternoon at a flea market, and share with us the treasures she found but not buy, because they were too expensive.

So she gave me the idea to show you some pics of my own visit this afternoon to a flea market not far from my home, and the little things i bought (because they were inexpensive).

Some forks and spoons, not only to lay the table, but most surely for some lovely bracelets... or pendants, why not ?

Oh do you see the lovely girl at the end of the forks ? She is my baby cat, it seems i gonna eat her at dinner, no ? No, too lovely !
Except the kitty, all is silver, with the hallmark on them.

The red velvet under the forks and spoons is the top of a piano stool, i gonna make it as good as new.

After making jewelry, or even before... my passion is to renovate old chairs, and i am always looking for them.

And for mixed média, some (i don't know how to call them !) locks in metal and a "bocfil" for jewelry. You can see on the right side, some old french coins.

And the cuttiest, an old top of ring hotel, in metal too.

For the end, some "cartes postales" of old Paris, Hope you enjoyed those treasures.

LILLIBULLE's GIVEAWAY

My sweet friend Lillibulle offers you a giveaway to celebrate her new Etsy shop. Take time to look at her gorgeous creations here and now here.

Her jewelry is the reflect of her human being, colorful, funny, inventive, full of generosity and this little bit of madness which made her so frenchie.

Do you know Lilla ?

A new pair of earrings made with black polymer clay, added to old french coins, people used after the second world war. The pendant beads are indian metal.

BUT the most important for now, is that i receive my first giveaway (yeeees). My friend Lilla le Vine from Hawaï will send me one of her lovely creation.

Take the time to stop by her blog, she makes stunning feminine things with laces, fabrics and pictures. She is very inventive and her world is so delicate. I am a great fan of her. Look at her gallery, that will give you and idea of some of her work.

And by the way, i want here, to thank so so much all of you, dear friends who let comments on my blog and my Flick gallery. It is very important for me to think i have followers in my creative progress. I love you all...

Little bracelet made with indian metallic beads my mother in law gave me, a button and some pearls.

Something simple in fact, but i wear it every day, it is simple, pure, and i love the combinaison of metal and pearl.

Did i ever mentioned i love the work of
Christi Friesen ? Her world is just amazing, colorful, funny, imaginative. And a friendly girl too, with a great sense of humour, always sharing her finds. Well, in a few words, i love her...

Here is my interpretation of a turtle. I made it last year, just work in progress of course...

When watermelon becomes a chandelier...

Hi everyone,

Do you remember my two pairs of earrings, called "watermelon", well, something strange happened to them.

Yes, a sort of mutation. They mixed together, i don't want to know how (...) and, well,... girls... i'm happy to introduce the new baby," LILLIBULLE"'s chandelier !

Isn't it so cute ? Something from momy pink and daddy green. And above, this bronze filigree looking after his little beads.

No, no, i didn't turn mad, the story is true. And that's what i gonna tell my sweet Esther, (aka) Lillibulle.

Last day, she wrote me she is crazy about earrings, but shhhh, it's just between you and me. Her colors : pink, green anise and turquoise. For the moment, turquoise is playing with copper... nothing happened. But, wait...

Oh, you know what ? Lillibulle is a sweet person, beautiful soul, (and beautiful girl too...), and i want to thank her with this gift, for all the things she shares with me about jewelry and creation.

One more time, shhhh, it's a secret. Do you think she'll love them ?
